Pallet wrapping use stretch wrap to secure the palletised products to the pallet. This stabilises the product so that it is less likely to be damaged during transport ensuring high product quality and minimal waste.

The range includes 3 semi-automatic and 3 automatic machines. Choosing between these features will be based on the scale of your operation. If being integrated into an autonomous line, you will want an automatic machine where the pallet arrives from the palletiser, is presented to the pallet wrapper and exits ready for shipping or storage. Where a fully autonomous line is not in place, a semi-automatic model can be used purely to take the laborious job away from the workforce where they will simply have to load the pallet onto the turntable, attach and cut the film and let the wrapper do the hard work.

Further considerations in deciding a machine model include the product type. Does the product require a top cover? The SENIOR, LINE and SPIN models can apply this automatically. Is the product stack particularly unstable? The SPIN model uses a rotating arm rather than a turntable to avoid unbalancing the product. Would a remote control usable from the pallet truck be beneficial? The SENIOR machine can do just that. Benefits of Pallet Wrapping Machines

The main benefit of pallet wrapping machines is the increase in product security. The programs installed into these machines are designed to wrap the pallets in such a way that maximises stability be it with hundreds of small boxes or with a stack of large barrels. No matter the product, the machine can be programmed to secure it to the pallet for stage storage or shipping. When a product is safely wrapped, it is more likely to arrive with the customers undamaged and presentable meaning increased customer satisfaction and reduced waste.

Manual pallet wrapping can involve lots of repetitive movements not ideal for your workforce’s welfare. Even with the semi-automatic variations of these machines, the reaching and twisting required is eliminated, simply use a forklift truck to load the platform, attach the film to the pallet, press a button and cut the film once the cycle is complete.
