Semi-automatic Powder Filling Machines
A semi-automatic powder filling machine is designed to partially automate the process of filling and dispensing dry powders and granules into sachets, pouches, bags, boxes or other forms of container. Unlike automatic machines, which are completely automated, semi-automatic machines require some level of manual input and operation. For example, an employee may need to manually load the containers into the machine, adjust the filling amount, and start and stop the filling process. Additionally, the auger or screw feeder that dispenses the product is usually operated by a foot pedal or is hand-switch operated by the employee controlling the filling process on the machine.

Range overview
A semi-automatic powder filling machine normally fills powders and granules into the packaging material – be it a container, bag or pouch – either volumetrically or by weight.
They can be filled by hand, gravity or automatically with a screw conveyor. Semi-automatic machines are usually on floor stands and when used with containers, the lids or caps are manually attached after filling. When a semi-automatic powder filling machine is used with flexible containers, such as pouches, Doypacks or sachets, they are used alongside other secondary machines for sealing, such as a continuous band sealer. Semi-automatic powder filling machines can, in theory, run any type of powder or granule product.
- VSM2 – This machine boasts a 60-litre hopper capacity with a manual or an automatic infeed chute connected to a gravity hopper or a screw conveyor. The level of product is controlled by a level probe to give reliable and accurate dose weights.
