Range Overview

Pressurised buffer tanks and wine filters run in conjunction with Cartobol bag-in-box filling machines.

Pressurised buffer tanks and wine filtration machines supply liquid to the bag filling machines in a BiB production line.

Pressurised buffer tanks, available in 100L or 200L models, use inert gases to obtain the perfect pressure for filling your specific liquid accurately and reliably. Maintaining a suitable pressure increases flow rate allowing for higher production rates and accurate volume recording.

Wine filters, available with 3 or 4-stage filtration, remove impurities and micro-organisms from red, white and rosé wines before they are packed. Depending on the filtration level required a 3 or 4 stage model will be recommended but in both models the removal of microbes, residue yeast and other particles eliminates the risk of spoilage.

Our partnership with Cartobol allows us to create bespoke filling systems for BiB lines so get in touch to see how we can help.

Benefits of Buffer Tanks and Wine Filters

By creating constant flow rates, pressurised buffer tanks ensure accuracy in bag-in-box bags over and over again. With bags equalling the fill volume, reaching the exact volume is vital in bag-in-box production lines. Pressurised filling happens at greater speeds allowing for increased production rates.

Wine filtration, depending on your wine type increases quality, and reduces spoilage. It is regularly used when producing sweet white wines, floral or fruity dry white wines, large-scale production wines and botrytis wines.

These machines automatically process the fluids once the parameters are set so require little intervention for operation.

Corrosion resistant, high strength 316 stainless steel keeps these machines running smoothly for a longtime and reduces necessary maintenance and potential downtime.
