Range Overview
Our automatic powder filling machines are volumetric due to the product depositing directly into the container on a conveyor.
These automatic powder filling machines are usually on height-adjustable pedestals to allow for different set-up configurations and use with other automatic machines. For instance, these filling machines run on VFFS, pouch, sachet and stick pack machines for flexible packs as well as inline and indexing container handling systems for rigid containers.
They are equipped with an auger that accurately measures and dispenses a precise amount of powder into the receptacle. The dispenser is driven by a motor that rotates it at a constant speed, while a control system regulates the amount of powder dispensed by adjusting the speed and duration of the auger rotations.
These machine boasts a 60-litre hopper capacity with a screw conveyor and either an automatic or manual infeed chute – the level of product is controlled by a level probe, which is controlled via the control panel.
Additional features can be added to powder dispensing equipment such as agitators and spinning disks to encourage movement and stopping disks to halt product movement.
