A depositor machine is a piece of equipment that is used in the food industry to deposit precise amounts of liquid or semi-solid food products into containers, such as jars, cups, trays or moulds. The machine is designed to fill the containers accurately and efficiently with the desired amount of product, which can range from thick pastes to thin liquids. Machine Range
Autopack supplies a range of single-head depositors that can be used as a semi-automatic machine where the containers being filled are presented to the filler manually, or, mounted over an automated conveyor system where the container is presented to the filler using a gating system.
The Autopack depositors are fully pneumatic machines and use volumetric pistons to determine the fill volume. They can be manufactured with a 10, 25 or 50L hopper or can be supplied without a hopper but will pull products directly from a local tank or IBC (Intermediate Bulk Container). The depositor is made to a food-grade standard with a hygienically designed hopper together with hygienic valves and hoses and food-grade seals. Each part of the depositor can be stripped down quickly for a deep clean. Additional options include a low-level hopper, a table stand, hopper agitation and product heating.
- 5 – 70 ml with a 10-litre hopper.
- 20 – 350 ml with a 25-litre hopper.
- 50 – 600 ml with a 25-litre hopper.
- 70 – 1100 ml with a 50-litre hopper.
- 500 – 5000 ml with a 50-litre hopper.
