Steam Vacuum Capping Machines

Unlike a dry vacuum capping machine, this machine uses steam to create a vacuum seal on containers. The conveyor transports the containers to the capping station, a steam generator produces the steam which can sterilise the headspace of the container and then the expanded air is removed by the vacuum chamber where the vacuum seal is created – helping to prevent the growth of bacteria and other microorganisms.

Machine range

The MC range of capping machines is perfect for medium and high-production speeds for sealing glass or plastic jars with twist-off caps. The cappers are designed for fast changeover and simple maintenance.

The MC range of capping machines can handle twist-off closures up to 110 mm in diameter at a maximum output of 500 jars per minute. The MC twist-off capping machine is a continuous inline machine where the caps are picked off directly on the in-feed to the capping chamber. Inside the chamber, steam can be introduced to sterilise the head space of the filled container and the lid itself prior to the cap being applied.

  • MC50 – Designed for medium-speed lines with a maximum output of 75 jars per minute.
  • MC100 – Designed for medium-speed lines with a maximum output of 120 jars per minute.
  • MC200 – Designed for medium to high-speed lines with a maximum output of 200 jars per minute.
  • MC300 – Designed for high-speed lines with a maximum output of 300 jars per minute.
  • MC50 – Designed for ultra-high-speed lines with a maximum output of 500 jars per minute.
