The Twist Rinser uses state of the art rinsing technology and patented twist design transportation meaning bottles and containers are rinsed without ever leaving the air conveyor.

Other rinsing units, have inherent interface problems on the infeed and outfeeds or are very expensive and take up a large footprint within the production area.

The new TWIST RINSER, with its unique design becomes part of the air conveyor as a stand-alone unit or part of a new or existing air conveyor system. This eliminates difficult interfaces and large production area footprints.

Entering the rinse zone bottles or containers are inverted through 180 degrees to allow them to be rinsed and then inverted back to their original orientation without leaving the air conveyor.

Once the bottles are inverted they pass over the IonRinse unit which is composed of 1 row of ionising bars, which alternate in charge +/- constantly as air passes over them.

The IonRinse system combines powerful AC ionisation, with high level inline filtration to provide the ultimate ionised air rinser.

Using high volume centrifugal fans with high velocity and Hepa filtered ionised, the air leaves the main unit and enters into the container via the air distributor.

The controlled airflow and neutralisation of static charges releases contamination from the inner walls of the container which is collected by the vacuum airflow & extracted.

The Twist Rinser, developed and patented by Traktech, is a system for cleaning the inside of PET (Polyethylene terephthalate) containers, for companies with lines of high production.

It is the only rinser on the market installed on the air conveyor, located between the blower and the filler, significantly reducing production costs and possible incidents in the filling line.

How does the Twist Rinser work?
The TWIST RINSER cleans PET containers in production lines with high production, using the same air conveyor that links the blower and the filler.

On the route between the blower and the filler, 6 metres of the air conveyor are replaced with the Twist Rinser by Traktech, which works at the same speed.

The Twist Rinser guides the PET containers through the neck ring, the same as the air conveyor, locating it upside down on a section of about 1 m, while at the same time it cleans it by injecting pressurized ionized air. This dual blowing and suction cleaning with ionised air generates a circular air current that removes any particle form inside the PET container.

In the Twist Rinser, the ionised air used in the cleaning counteracts the effects of static electricity that the particles of dirt could have, thus avoiding the dirt adhering to the sided of the PET container.

This ionised air is generated with the  IonRinse™system, which combines powerful CA ionisation with high level on-line filtration  to provide the maximum level of cleaning with ionised air .

Using high-volume and high-speed centrifugal as well as Hepa filters  with ionised air, the ionised air leaves the main unit and enters the containers by the air distributor. Airflow control combined with neutralisation of electrostatic charges detaches contamination form the internal walls of the container, which are collected by the flow of vacuum air.
